Connect your WhatsApp account

   Open the connection window

   In your project, open WhatsApp and press Connect a WhatsApp number. Meta's window (Embedded Signup) opens. Make sure pop-ups are not blocked.

   Complete Meta's steps

   1. Sign in with the Facebook account linked to your business.
   2. Pick a WhatsApp Business account or create one.
   3. Add your number and confirm it with a code.

   Come back to Watsy

   We finish the rest automatically: the connection is stored encrypted, we subscribe to your account's events and register the number. It then shows under Connected numbers with its status and quality.

   Create the authentication template

   Under WhatsApp → Templates, press Create authentication template: a name in lowercase letters, digits and _, the language (ar or en) and the code validity (1 to 90 minutes). The template has a Copy code button and Meta's fixed text, is sent to Meta for review and is usually approved within minutes. Press Sync from Meta to refresh its status.

   Pick the default sender

   With more than one number, choose the Default sender. Nothing changes in the API: the same POST /v1/verify request now sends from your number.

Connection lifetime

• Meta's connection has a limited lifetime; we renew it automatically 15 days before it ends.
• If renewal keeps failing, you get an email a week before expiry asking you to reconnect.
• An expired connection is never used: codes go back to Watsy's number.
• Disconnect stops sending from your number immediately.
