Channel fallback and billing

How we pick a channel, when we charge and when we refund.

Example: one code along the default channel chain
  1. WhatsApp

    The provider rejected it

    Charged, refunded at once

  2. Telegram

    Code delivered

    The only charge

  3. SMS

    Never needed

    Not charged

You pay only for the channel that delivered. Every step is listed in the response under messages.

  • Each attempt is priced from the price list at send time, and the price is stored with it.
  • We charge before calling the provider. If it rejects the message or does not answer within 6 seconds, we refund and move to the next channel.
  • WhatsApp: if Meta later reports a failed delivery, we refund automatically and the attempt becomes failed. A successful delivery shows delivered.
  • Telegram: we charge when Telegram accepts the request. Refunds for undelivered codes, based on delivery reports, come in a later release.
  • Your own number: Meta bills your account directly; we only charge the service fee.
  • Numbers outside Iraq are priced under INTL and are not sent until a price exists.

Every charge and refund appears under Balance & ledger in the dashboard, linked to the attempt itself.
